Association of Convenience Stores' Reception

Meg met with convenience store retailers at the Association of Convenience Stores' reception to celebrate the important role that local shops play in our communities.

Meg met retailers who voiced their concerns on a variety of issues from rising rates and energy bills to increasing pressure from small format supermarkets.

"Local shops are the life blood of Hackney high streets. They need support in these tough times. If we don't use them we may lose them" said Meg.
