Barts Health NHS Trust

There are genuine concerns about the services that Hackney and London residents are receiving.

Barts is Britain’s biggest NHS trust, employing 14,000 staff and treating over two million patients a year. But when it was formed questions were asked about accountability and line management.

I pressed the Minister to consider breaking up Barts into smaller, more manageable and locally accountable trusts.
