Why do you need to know my address?
Due to strict Parliamentary rules, MPs can only take up issues on behalf of their constituents. If you do not live in Hackney South and Shoreditch you will need to contact your own MP. You can check who your MP is here – http://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps/
Do I need an appointment to attend your advice surgeries?
The advice surgeries are usually held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, the dates for the next advice surgeries are advertised on the home page. You don't need an appointment to attend the advice surgery. Meg and her caseworkers see constituents on a first come, first seen basis. When you arrive for the advice surgery you will need to sign in on our list so we know you want to be seen.
Where are the advice surgeries held?
Our advice surgeries are normally held at Hackney Town Hall, Mare Street, E8 1EA. However, due to ongoing maintenance work at the Town Hall, the advice surgeries have be moved to other locations around the Town Hall. To check where the surgery will be please ring the office on 020 7219 5325 or go to the Town Hall reception who can direct you to us.
