Get Britain Cycling

Whilst at Labour Party Conference 2014, I pledged my support to the Get Britain Cycling report that was published in early 2013. The benefits cycling can bring to individuals and to communities are enormous.

I was also pleased to address over 300 members of the public who turned out for the Space for Cycling evening ride in Manchester and to show my support for making cycling a normal activity.

I made clear that we need proper planning and sustained funding so that cycling is better supported.
