Murray Grove Post Office to be given a facelift
15 October 2015 at 00:00:00
I was delighted to hear that Murray Grove Post Office will be refurbished into a new modern main style branch.
A few years ago the post office was threatened with closure which would have left Hoxton residents a long way from an alternative branch. In a bold political move, Hackney council provided funds to support the post office remaining open. It is now self-supporting.
The change will see longer opening hours and additional services, and is part of a major programme of modernisation taking place across the Post Office network.
What will the changes mean for customers?
Longer opening hours
Newly refurbished branch
Additional products and services such as car tax and foreign currency
In order for the works to be carried out the store will need to close on Tuesday 10 November at 5.30pm and will re-open on Thursday 19 November at 1pm.
Whilst the works are being carried out, customers are advised to use the branches at 101 Hoxton Street and 205 Old Street.
