Prime Minister's Questions

19 September 2016 at 00:00:00

Prime Minister's Questions is the most popular and well attended question session in Parliament.

Due to the overwhelming demand for tickets I operate a ballot system for tickets for Hackney residents.

If you wish to enter the ballot you must send your name, postal address and contact information to meghilliermp@parliament.uk when entries are being accepted.

Entries for October's ballot are being accepted from 9.00am Monday 19 September until 5pm Monday 3 October. Successful candidates will be notified by Friday 7 October.

If you are unsuccessful you will need to resubmit your entry when the next ballot period opens – likely to be early 2017. Ballot periods will be advertised on my website under the news section.

Even if you were previously on the list, you will need to resubmit your information each time a ballot period is open.

Of course there are other questions sessions throughout the week when Parliament is sitting. Tickets for these are often easier to obtain. If you would like to attend another question session, please check the calendar on the Parliament website – http://services.parliament.uk/calendar/. MPs can also arrange tours of Parliament – http://www.parliament.uk/visiting/visiting-and-tours/tours-of-parliament... – if this is of interest please let me know.
