Proposed new location for Hackney Post Office

The Post Office is proposing to relocate and modernise its Hackney branch at 382 Mare Street, resulting in a modern open plan branch with longer opening hours. The proposed new location is 398-400 Mare Street, Hackney, London E8 1HP.

There is a six week local public consultation underway, to gather views from local residents as to the suitability of the proposed new location. You can contribute via an online questionnaire here. (click on the 'comment on a proposed branch change' link and then enter 'Hackney' as the Post Office branch name). Alternatively, there will be posters and leaflets displayed in branch to let customers know about the changes and to ask for their views.

The consultation ends on 11 September 2013.
