The Greater Anglia Cycle Strategy

18 October 2013 at 00:00:00

Greater Anglia has produced a strategy on the use of cycling as a feeder to the rail network.

The strategy sets out investment plans and ideas for cultural changes in the behaviour of cyclists.

The main focus of the report is on providing better cycle parking facilities in stations. This includes the provision for more cycle parking spaces and making these more secure.

It is hoped that such investments will discourage cyclists from bringing bikes onto trains.

The report also sets out an approach to promote better etiquette for cyclists in stations.

The full report can be read here.
