'Put the environment at the heart of the UK economy'

Sustainability and environmental impacts must be considered in economic planning and I have been copied into emails to the Chancellor calling for this. When I was shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change I championed green job creation as an opportunity to boost the economy. I have also raised this issue separately with the Chancellor and will let you know the answer I receive.
