Climate Change petition

I was delighted to hand in St Monica’s Catholic Primary School’s climate change petition to 10 Downing Street.

More than 250 pupils and staff signed the petition in support of CAFOD's campaign which followed Pope Francis' papal encyclical highlighting the issue.

Whilst on a recent visit to the school, their enthusiasm and passion for the environment was clear to see and I was impressed by their recycling and waste reduction schemes.

Climate change is an urgent global issue that must remain firmly on the agenda. Along with St Monica's I look forward to Mr Cameron's response.
