EFY scheme

I recently visited the Engaging for Youngsters programme on Haggerston Park.

The scheme has been running in Hackney for just over a year providing free football training for Hackney’s young people.

There are three tiers of programme starting with the fun introductory sessions for 9-14 year olds, followed by a development programme for all over 15s regardless of ability and the advanced course for over 15s looking to play football at professional or semi professional level.

Training is held Mondays and Wednesdays in Haggerston Park between 6-7.30pm.
