Hackney's Bonnie Freechyld Named Runner-Up in Rock the House 2014

Hackney resident Bonnie Freechyld was one of five finalists in the solo artist category of this year's Rock the House competition.

Rock the House is open to all unsigned bands and solo artists, and offers the winners a unique opportunity to perform live inside Parliament.

The singer songwriter has had over 1.2m views on YouTube and has worked with artists including Labrinth, Sway and TQ. Her musical endeavours have taken her across Europe, to New York, Singapore and Australia.

It was great to see a Hackney constituent with such raw talent do so well.
