Hackney Community Leaders event

On 15 May I welcomed community leaders from across Hackney South and Shoreditch to Parliament.

Those who attended came from a diverse range of backgrounds and organisations – tenants groups, police, health workers, community activists – but all had in common their commitment and contribution to Hackney. They give a great deal but rarely get thanked. This was one small way of recognising their efforts.
