Hackney Community Leaders reception

Community leaders from across Hackney South joined Meg at parliament for a reception to celebrate Hackney and the people that make it great.

Guests included representatives from the Shoreditch air cadets and young firefighters as well as people working or volunteering across Hackney in health, housing, advocacy, cultural services, tenants and residents associations and many others.

Meg said, “Many people contribute so much to making Hackney a better place to live. It’s right to celebrate their work and thank them for their contribution.”
