John Reid - Queensbridge

The Home Secretary, John Reid and Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Ian Blair came to Queensbridge on 23 February to meet with the Queensbridge Safer Neighbourhoods Team and local residents on Holly Street.

Crime in Hackney has fallen 16 per cent in the last year, burglary is down 35 per cent and robbery down 2 per cent. All wards have active neighbourhood police teams.
