Parents coffee morning

Jim Murphy, minister for work, joined me at the Kingmead Kabin on Kingsmead Estate to meet with Hackney parents who are bringing up their children alone. He heard candid first hand experiences about the realities of working and bringing up children. He also heard views about Job Centre Plus for which he is responsible. He urged anyone with any concerns to advise me so that I can pass these directly to him.
