Primary Voices

I recently visited Arcola Theatre in Dalston for Quicksilver Theatre Company's fantastic Primary Voices showcase.

The event showcases plays written by 10 and 11 year olds from Hackney schools.

The playwriting workshops take place in ten Hackney classrooms and from the scripts twenty plays are chosen to be premiered and performed by professional actors.

Quicksilver is a local theatre company which produces plays for children. It is currently based in Enfield Road but will soon have to move as its premises are being redeveloped.
