Primary Voices, Arcola Theatre

I had the pleasure of seeing a series of plays written by Hackney’s year 6 primary school children and produced by local children’s theatre company Quicksilver theatre.

The project sees the Quicksilver team work with children to teach them how to write a play. Quicksilver then chose a selection of plays to produce to an audience of school children.

This is an excellent example of some of the work that takes place in many Hackney schools using creative methods to foster learning. In an area with so many creative individuals and businesses it seems right that this should be reflected in our schools.
