Question on foxes

Meg today called on the Government to look at guidance on the control of urban foxes.

Meg raised an urgent question in the Chamber following the terrible attack on two young children in Hackney this week.

Meg said, "I am not in favour of a wholesale cull. The vast majority of foxes live in harmony with humans. However I do want to know if the Government has more information on the frequency of these attacks and to look at guidance on this issue. At this stage I am trying to establish facts.

"My sympathy is with the parents of the children at this time."
