Silver Sunday 2015

Now in its fourth year, Silver Sunday is an annual day of fun and free activities for older people across the UK. It celebrates the value and knowledge older people contribute to our communities while combating loneliness and isolation.

Through a variety of free activities Silver Sunday is offering people over 65 a chance to keep active in body and spirit, try new things, meet their neighbours and, ultimately, overcome loneliness.

To celebrate, the Speaker of Hackney, Cllr Sade Etti, will host a special afternoon tea at Hackney Town Hall from 2-4pm. Spaces are limited and will be given on a first come first served basis. To find out more and register your interest email Eda Ziya or call her on 020 8356 3591.
