Speak Out challenge

On 2nd April attended the Hackney regional final of the “Speak Out” challenge at Petchey Academy. Students from across Hackney gave impressive performances.

The Speak Out challenge is run by the Jack Petchey Foundation and Speakersbank.

Young people from across London have been taking part in the challenge. They receive a day of training in communicating and speaking with confidence and then have the opportunity to put it into practice and speak about the things that matter to them.

Congratulations to Hackney’s winner Michael Ha who will go to the final.
