St Joseph's Hospice

I was delighted to attend St Joseph's Hospice to celebrate the 200 year anniversary of the Religious Sisters of Charity who founded the hospice.

Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster, joined a large congregation of staff past and present, patients, visitors and volunteers for Mass which celebrated the life and work of the Venerable Mary Aikenhead, the founder of the religious order which started St Joseph’s Hospice.

I am a strong supporter of the vital work that St Joseph's Hospice provides for the sick and dying.

This hospice has been providing front-line care to the people of Hackney and across London for over a century
