Well Street E9 Photographic Project summer exhibition

Last week I was delighted to help launch the summer exhibition of the Well Street E9 Photographic Project run by Berger Primary School and the Well Street Traders and Residents Association (WESTRA).

I was joined by Hackney Speaker, Councillor Michael Desmond, and Councillor Ian Rathbone, who has worked closely with Berger Primary School and WESTRA.

The project, which began in September 2012, aims to provide children with the opportunity to learn basic digital camera skills. The children get to visit local exhibitions and to have an experience of photographing people in the local community.

The exhibition is being held at Hackney Central Library and has been extended to run until the end of the month. Catch it while you can!
