As Parliament is on its summer break, I've prepared a video on what the Labour Government has achieved during its first year in power to tackle the climate emergency.
During its first year, this Labour Government has:
Reversed the Conservative’s destructive ban on onshore wind power.
Launched Great British Energy and approved enough green energy projects to power 2 million homes.
Supported 2.7 million struggling households with £150 off their energy bills.
Tackled the water companies by introducing a new ombudsman to help fight for consumers and forcing action to clean up our rivers, lakes, and seas.
