See above for my weekly round-up of what I’ve been up to in Hackney and Westminster.

• Hackney desperately needs more affordable and social housing. I pressed the Government on repurposing disused sites for new housing developments so new homes can be delivered more quickly.

• The Treasury Select Committee held a session on consumer finance, where we explored issues including mortgages and insurance.

• I was pleased to join the Duke of Edinburgh at St John’s Hoxton to celebrate its 200^th anniversary.
