See above for my weekly round-up of what I’ve been up to in Hackney and Westminster.
The Treasury Committee looked at high street shops that avoid paying tax.
Hackney has the second-highest number of buildings with dangerous cladding in London. I welcomed the Cladding Minister to Hackney to see remediation for herself as the Government prepares legislation to tackle this.
Hackney Mind is pioneering sessions of mental health support to those who need it, when they need it, without long waiting lists. I was pleased to welcome the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions to Mind to hear more about their fantastic work.
