Meg starts rolling road surgeries for residents

Hackney’s new MP Meg Hillier is already out on the road in her constituency in a series of rolling road surgeries – and to say a big thank you to people who voted for her.

‘And I’m happy to speak to those who didn’t vote for me as I now represent everyone in Hackney South and Shoreditch,’ said Meg. ‘It will be fine while I’m on the road for people to come and have a chat with me if they’ve got a problem.

‘I want to make as much contact as possible with my constituents to find out what they’re thinking. This helps to inform me when I’m in parliament.’

The new MP for Hackney will be in the Narroway near Marks and Spencers on Saturday May 21 from 11am to 1pm. She was out on May 12 visiting people in Haggerston. She plans to run a stall on other Saturdays at locations around the constituency.
