This week:

  • Thank you to everyone who responded to the Treasury Committee’s survey on student loans. We published our report on this, recommending that the freeze on repayment thresholds be reversed.

  • Capita, who runs the Civil Service pension scheme, has been failing pensioners. I raised this in the House of Commons and will continue to press for action.

  • The Treasury Committee looked at how to fund the needed rise in defence spending.

  • I pressed the Mayor of London against proposals to curtail the 38 bus route.
