See above for my weekly round-up of what I’ve been up to in Hackney and Westminster.

• It is vital that we invest in work that helps our planet. I attended a Hackney Green Futures event, which brought together employers and residents to explore sustainable and environmental careers.

• Housing remains critical in Hackney. So on his first day back in the Chamber, I pressed the new Prime Minister on social and affordable housing in Hackney, and I will continue to work on this with him.

• I welcomed the Minister for Social Security and Disability to Hackney's renowned Graeae Theatre Company to discuss issues surrounding Access to Work and Personal Independence Payments that are holding disabled artists back from sustaining their careers.
