As Parliament is on its summer break, I've prepared a video on what the Labour Government has achieved during its first year in power to strengthen workers' rights and boost pay.
During its first year, this Labour Government has:
Increased the national minimum wage so that if you are over the age of 21 and working full-time you will earn an extra £1,400 a year.
Delivered the biggest shift on workers' rights in a generation: the end of exploitative zero-hours contracts, the banning of fire and rehire practices, and better working protections for pregnant women.
Strengthened and increased statutory sick pay.
